While Prue was off doing other things, Piper and Phoebe get the spirit
board out. Their mother gave it to them before she passed away. Phoebe was using the spirit board while Piper was in the kitchen.
The pointer had spelled out A-T-T-I-C! Prue and Piper thought that Phoebe had just moved the pointer just like she used to
do when she was little. The next time it happened Piper saw it too.
Phoebe was curious and went up to the attic. She tried to open the door but
it wouldn't budge. As she turns her back to go downstairs the door opened by itself.
She walked inside and finds a trunk with light shining through. She opens
the trunk to find a large book that looks very old. She opens the Book of Shadows and finds an incantation, which she reads
out loud.
"Hear now the words of the witches, the secrets we hid in the night, the oldest of gods are invoked here, the
great work of magic is sought.
In this night and in this hour I call upon the ancient power. Bring your power to we sisters
three. We want the power, Give us the power!"
The next day they find out they have powers. Prue has telekinesis when she
flings asprin when she gets angry. She also asks where the creamer is and it comes toward her. Piper has temporal statis when
she freezes the chef. Phoebe has the gift of premonitions when she has a vision about two boys getting hit by a car.
Their powers grow and Prue now has astral projection, Piper has molecular
combustion, and Phoebe can levitate.
They are visited by the demon Shaxs who kills Prue. Everyone thinks that
the Power of Three is over until they meet Paige.
They find out Paige is their half sister. She has the power to orb, telekinetically
orb, and the power to heal with the help of Leo. Paige is half witch, half whitleighter. The Power of Three is reunited again.
Later Phoebe becomes and empath and Piper has a baby named Wyatt.
